DEVIQO vs UENI

DEVIQO vs UENI: both build it for you, and the bills look nothing alike

This is the fair fight. Every other comparison on this site is us against a tool you drive yourself; UENI, like us, builds the site for you. So the question is $79 setup plus $24.99 a month against $1 once plus $8.99 a month, and what each of those monthlies is paying for.

Today you pay $1 for the website plus your first month of hosting. After that hosting is $8.99 a month, billed on the same date each month until you cancel, and you can cancel in any month. The .com is included on the Complete plan at $18.99 a month. On Basic at $8.99 a month the name is registered in your own name and run for you, and the registry’s own annual fee for it, about $12 a year, is billed separately at cost.

Same category. Two done-for-you services, priced against each other rather than against a builder. Two years counted. Setup fee plus twenty-four months, on both sides, with the domain in. Read September 3, 2026. Every UENI figure came off its own pricing page, in USD.

The difference underneath

Where the build sits in the bill

Two done-for-you services can charge similar totals and still behave completely differently, because of where the build is hiding.

Build paid once

What we do

The build is settled at $1 on day one. Everything that recurs afterwards is the cost of running the site: the server, the SSL, the mailbox, the backup and the changes.

  • $1 once, for the build
  • $8.99 a month, for the running
Build inside the monthly

The other shape

When a service folds most of the build into the recurring fee, the monthly has to keep paying for work that was finished in week one. It’s why done-for-you monthlies in this market run from $24.99 to $199.

  • $79 setup, then $24.99 a month
  • $199 a month on B12’s done-for-you tier

Neither shape is wrong, and there’s a real trade in it. A service that keeps the build inside the monthly is carrying more of your risk and is entitled to charge for that. The two are hard to compare in a single month and easy to compare over two years, which is why the row above adds them up. The same arithmetic for the rest of the market is on pay monthly websites, and against the agency route on what a small business website costs.

Questions

What people ask next

Is UENI cheaper than DEVIQO?

Not on the published numbers. Over two years UENI comes to $678.76, from a setup fee of $79 plus twenty-four months at $24.99. ueni.com/pricing read September 3, 2026 Here the same two years is $240.76, counting the build, the hosting and the registry fee for the domain. Both are real done-for-you services, so this is one of the few comparisons on this site where the two figures are measuring the same thing.

Why is your setup fee a dollar and theirs isn’t?

Because we make the money back over the months you stay hosted, and they take more of it up front. Ours is riskier for us: if you cancel in month two we are down on the deal, which is a strong incentive to build something you want to keep. Theirs is safer for them and costs you $79 before anything exists. ueni.com/pricing read September 3, 2026

What does the list setup price mean?

UENI advertises its setup fee against a list setup of $599, which is the same rhetorical move we make when we say the build is openly sold at $1,500. ueni.com/pricing read September 3, 2026 The useful habit with any of these, ours included, is to ignore the struck-through number and add up what leaves your account over two years.

Do I own the site and the domain either way?

Here you’re the registrant of the domain from day one, the words and photographs are yours, and the transfer code goes out within one business day at no charge if you leave. We can’t speak for another company’s terms, so our advice is to read whose name the domain is registered in before you buy anything from anyone, including us. The domains page explains why that one detail matters more than it sounds.

Which one should a very small business pick?

Price both over two years instead of one month, and then ask a second question: what happens when you want a change. A website you can’t easily change stops being current within a year, whoever built it. Our answer is that you can edit it yourself as often as you like, or send it to us: two a month on Basic, as many as you send on Complete. Ask any competitor the same question and hold them to the answer.

Are there other done-for-you services worth comparing?

Yes, and they’re on the pay monthly websites page: B12’s done-for-you tier at $199 a month, SiteMonth at $399 setup plus $79 a month, and Jabz at $99 a month with the first twelve payments required. b12.io/pricing read September 3, 2026 sitemonth.com read September 3, 2026 jabzwebdesign.com read September 3, 2026
