Website design by industry
A plumber and a dental practice don’t need the same website
Every business we build for gets the same treatment: a designer draws it, a copywriter writes it, and it goes live in seven days for $1. What changes from one trade to the next is what the site has to prove before anyone calls.
An emergency plumber has to answer the area and the hours in the first screenful. A dental practice has to answer insurance and cost. A law firm has to sound like a person you could call on a bad Tuesday. Those are different pages, different structures and different words, and a template can’t tell the difference. So we have written the brief for each trade below, in public, before you spend anything.
Today you pay $1 for the website plus your first month of hosting. After that hosting is $8.99 a month, billed on the same date each month until you cancel, and you can cancel in any month. The .com is included on the Complete plan at $18.99 a month. On Basic at $8.99 a month the name is registered in your own name and run for you, and the registry’s own annual fee for it, about $12 a year, is billed separately at cost.

The trades we have written a full page for
Each one sets out the pages we would build, the searches it’s written to answer, and the things that go wrong on most sites in that trade. No email address needed to read any of it.
Trades and home services
Work bought in a hurry, or bought once every fifteen years. Either way the website has to answer the area, the license and the price before the phone rings.

Not on the list
Your trade doesn’t have a page yet, and it changes nothing
We have built sites for tattoo studios, swim schools, cideries, title companies, dog groomers, driving instructors, appraisers, tutoring centers and a padel club. The pages above exist because those trades get searched most often, not because they’re the only ones we take.
The build is the same either way. You answer the questionnaire, a designer draws the pages around what you sell, a copywriter writes them, and the site is live in seven days for $1. The websites page walks through the whole seven days, and the examples page has a hundred and twenty finished sites on it, sorted by trade.
- Same seven days
- Same $1 build
- Same designer and copywriter
- Same hosting from $8.99 a month
- Cancel in any month
The trade changes what goes on the pages. It doesn’t change the price or the timeline.
Trade and town
What you do, and where you do it
Most searches in these trades carry a place in them. The industry page covers the what. These cover the where.
-
Web design by state and city
A page for all fifty states, Washington, D.C. and 263 cities, each written for small businesses in that market.
-
Local SEO services
The ongoing job: the Google Business Profile, the citations, the technical fixes and fresh writing every month.
-
Website design pricing
The build and the two hosting plans, priced in public, with the one figure that’s billed at cost named.
-
What a small business website costs
The real US range, with every competitor figure read off a public page and dated.
The offer
Tell us the trade. We’ll write the site around it
A designer draws the pages and a copywriter writes every word on them, from a questionnaire that takes about half an hour. Live in seven days for $1, then hosting at $8.99 a month.
The same build is openly sold at $1,500, which is what a US agency charges for a small business site of this size. No contract, no minimum term and no exit fee.
